December comes and we begin to grow anxious for our first 3 foals due in February 2013. The mares are moved off pasture and into their stalls!

SE Legacy Bloodstock welcomed a long sought after mare to our program this month, Amirah Myeta. The oldes of the four full siblings by Alfano Mystall and out of Glorieta Gabriela.
September.October 2012
Things have been quiet around the farm this fall. Our 5 mares continue successfully in foal and we are all settling in for the winter to come.

We are excited to share that our foundation broodmare, Bint Aleeshah (Tammen x Aleeshah) was confirmed in foal to Amer Shahed for a June 2013 foal!

Amer Shahed was awarded Unanimous Champion Stallion of the Extended Specialty Stallions 3 Years Old with trainer, David Conner and received a Top 5 in Stallions 3 Years and Older with Amateur owner, Charles Niman. Way to go guys!

Today, May 18th, SEL Marzuq's 5th filly was born out of his 5 foals. Sometimes a stallion is born that is meant to be an exceptional broodmare producer. I think we own one of those!
MC Hamrah Barakeh departs for her 30-day quarantine prior to making her way to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Congratulations to her new owner, Mr. Ahmed Alaryani! We wish you many years of gorgeous black foals from "Boo".

Amer Shahed wins Reserve Champion in the OPEN Class at the Andalusia, AL show and the bronze in the SE Arabian Class out of 12 SE Stallions! Way to go Shahed.
Congratulation to our new freinds in Saudi Arabian on their purchase of our lovely black filly, MC Hamrah Barakeh.
We welcomed a beautiful black filly on March 21, 2012 by SEL Marzuq out of Bay Mareekh Osaia.

SEL Marzuq will be leaving for his new home in December 2011. Congratulations to Sam & Lindsey Taylor on their lease of SEL Marzuq! Lindsey is a huge fan of the Arabian horse and we can't think of a better person to continue Marzuq's training and provide him with a wonderful home.
Chaz, our HA gelding, left for his new home this month. Already started under saddle, Chaz will continue his training on the trails! Good luck to James Carpenter of Celina, TN who will be using the natural horsemanship methods of Clinton Anderson while workng with Chaz.

Amer Shahed (Imperial Shehaab x Imperial Kameesha x Imperial Al Kamar) was named 1st Place of his class, 2 Year Old SE Stallions and 2nd in his ATH Stallions with amateur/owner, Charles Niman.
With fall approaching we look forward to cooler weather, less humidity and adding three Straight Eyptian Arabian mares to our program for the 2012-2014 breeding season. Special thanks to Bonnie Kenney and the Society for the Preservation for the Egyptian Arabian Horse (SPEAH) for allowing us this opportunity.

SE Legacy Bloodstock is pleased to announce that we have reached a purchase agreement with Khepera Arabians in NC to purchase the lovely Bay Mareekh Osaia. Osaia is a much desired addition to our foundation broodmare band. Osaia is currently in foal to SEL Marzuq for a late March 2012 foal.

July 9, 2011 marked a milestone day for the SE Legacy Bloodstock breeding program. We were able to welcome two wonderful young stallions to our breeding program:
Amer Shahed (Imperial Shehaab x Imperial Kameesha x Imperial Al Kamar) with a tail female line to Deenaa, arrived from Yorklyn Arabians and was added to our stallion roster for the 2011-2013 breeding season. This exceptional colt placed 3rd in his 2010 futurity class at the EE as a yearling and went on to be named Champion Stallion at his first Class A show the same year. Plans are in the works for some special mares for Shahed's first breeding season.
As if one spectacular colt was not enough, we also welcomed Amer Maarouf (Mishaal HP x Infidels Mist MC) to our farm! In partnership between Nader Arabians of California and SE Legacy Bloodstock, we plan to get this boy out in the show ring beginning in 2012.

SE Legacy Bloodstock welcomed Bay Mareekh Osaia (Bay Mareekh x OS Shammari x Amileegy++) to our breeding program on lease from Khepera Arabians of NC. Love, love, love this mare!
